Any Concerns?
It is important to build a relationship with your child's
teacher and to share any concerns and/or information you may
have about your child. If there is anything that you need
to check or anything that you wish to discuss please contact
your child's teacher for an appointment.
Your child's teacher should always be the first contact as
the teacher has most information about your child and will
be able to help you.
If your concern cannot be settled please speak to Miss Ryan,
the team leader of Stage One. Miss Ryan's role is to coordinate
and supervise the Stage One team and should also be able to
assist you.
Finally, if your concerns continue, please do not hesitate
to contact Mr Wray,
the Principal.
Note Day
Most notes will be sent home on Tuesday of each week so you
know that this is the best day to search through your child's
bag. The Stage One teachers will keep you informed of other
issues as they arise.
Classroom Helpers
The teacher will contact you if you would like to assist
in the classroom. There are many opportunities to help and
it is a great way to share the learning journey with your
child and get to know what is happening in and around the
school. Contact your child's teacher if you are interested.
Reading Recovery
Some children in Year One will be selected for additional
assistance with reading through our Reading Recovery program.
This program is being taught by Mrs Thompson.
